Lamorbey

A leafy residential district west of Sidcup centred on Lamorbey House and its lakeside park — home to Rose Bruford College of theatre and performance.

Lamorbey is a leafy residential district on the western side of Sidcup, in the London Borough of Bexley (DA15). It is best known for Lamorbey House, an 18th-century mansion set in parkland beside a lake.

## Lamorbey House and Rose Bruford College

Lamorbey House is home to Rose Bruford College, a specialist higher-education college of theatre and performance. The surrounding Lamorbey Park includes the lake, mature trees and open green space, and is a well-used local amenity.

## Local Character and Getting Around

Lamorbey is largely a settled residential area of interwar and postwar housing, close to both Sidcup town centre and Blackfen. Sidcup railway station is the nearest station, within walking distance of much of the area, and buses run along the main roads towards the town centre.
