AI for Plumbers in Sidcup: Replying to the Message Sent from the Station Platform
A leak is reported at 7am by someone standing on a platform. Whoever replies first often gets the job. A guide for plumbers who cannot reply from under a boiler.
If you run a plumbing business in Sidcup and keep missing leads, Dean Keating can help with coaching, consultancy or installation of an AI agent that replies to enquiries, sorts the urgent-sounding from the routine and flags them to you within rules you agree. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, and works remotely. The first call on 07418 627304 is a free discussion.

A town of commuters
Sidcup station is on the Dartford loop line, and Albany Park and New Eltham have stations of their own. That means plenty of households leave early and message from the platform: a drip under the sink, a radiator that has stopped working, a quote request they thought of on the train.
Those messages arrive when you are already on a job, and you cannot always pick up.
The two types of enquiry
Plumbing enquiries divide fairly cleanly.
Urgent-sounding. Water where it should not be. The customer needs to know their message has been received, and that they should use the direct urgent route if there is any danger.
Routine. A tap, a bathroom, a service. These need a quote and a visit and can usually wait for a reply.
An agent can be built to try to tell them apart from the wording and answer each differently. It cannot do this perfectly. Urgent-sounding messages can be flagged to you with the details already collected, by a channel you choose, but that does not guarantee you see them in time. Routine ones receive a reply asking for the information you need, then a proposed visit from times you have set.
What Dean's website says it can do
Reply to new enquiries promptly, including out of hours within rules you agree. Follow up people who have already contacted you, to an agreed timing and cap. Prepare quotes and chase the ones nobody has answered. Book jobs into the diary, where it has permission and can see real availability. You choose what to say, and the agent follows your rules.
What it should never do
It should not diagnose faults or offer technical safety advice. For anything involving gas or a possible danger, it should hand the message to a qualified person instead of advising. It should say that it is an automated assistant, that a person will be told, and that anyone in danger should use the direct urgent route and not rely on the automated reply. You approve that wording. Nor should it promise a call-back or a time unless you are genuinely free.
Practicalities
Dean is in Horndean, Hampshire, and delivers remotely, working where feasible in the messaging and diary tools you already use. He offers a free first call, which is a discussion, and paid scope and costs are agreed before work starts. If you prefer a firm that is nearer, ask several.
